Overview:

In this webinar David Connolly will describe the ACVIM staging for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and discuss appropriate therapies for each of the stages (prevention and treatment). This will cover the management of congestive heart failure, aortic thromboembolism and common arrhythmias. We will also discuss exciting future therapies based around recent clinical trials in humans and the repurposing of an established drug for the veterinary market. Additionally, we will consider basic echocardiographic indicators that are key to prognostication.
