I am Professor in Veterinary Cardiology at the Royal Veterinary College and work alongside three other academics, four clinical residents and our cardiology nurse. I maintain a 50% clinic commitment in addition to a large research programme and administration/teaching duties. I have a particular interest in feline myocardial disease and have presented and published extensively on the subject. I am the author of over 70 peer reviewed publications in clinical and basic science international journals and hold a number of research grants that encompass collaborations with medical schools within the University of London and beyond. I am involved in teaching of undergraduates as well as MSc, PhD students and clinical residents. I also undertake CPD teaching both nationally and internationally.
