Jackie Demetriou is a clinical partner at Granta Veterinary Specialists, an independent specialist referral practice is an EBVS and RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London and after a brief period in mixed practice took on a surgery residency at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. She also holds a part time Chair in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery at The University of Nottingham. She has published two textbooks, multiple book chapters and over thirty peer reviewed publications.
